Zelensky Commented On His Conversation With Maria Kolesnikova

"I'm glad people are finally out."

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has spoken by phone with the released head of Viktor Babariko's election headquarters, Maria Kolesnikova. He told about it in his evening address on December 13.

- Five Ukrainians were returned from Belarus. These are our civilians. Along with them, Belarusian political prisoners, released thanks to agreements with America, are now in Ukraine. In particular, Maria Kolesnikova, Viktor Babariko and others are among them. I spoke with Maria today. I am glad that people are finally at liberty," the Ukrainian president said.

He also spoke several times with the head of the main department of Ukrainian intelligence Kyrill Budanov over the course of the operation. According to Zelensky, it was the GUR that ensured the removal of people.
