Large-scale Fire In Russia's Taganrog: Lights, Cell Phone Service And Water Lost

A column of smoke rises over the city.

A large-scale fire broke out in Russia's Taganrog on Sunday morning, November 9. After that, Russians began to report disruptions in communications, electricity and water supply.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Russian media.

In particular, social networks are circulating footage showing a column of smoke rising above the city. Eyewitnesses say that in some areas of Taganrog there is no light and no cell phone service. People complain that they were not warned about the shutdown.

Local publics suggest that the fire could have occurred at the transformer of the T-25 substation (110/35/6 kilovolt).

According to Russian propaganda agency TASS, the city imposed an emergency shutdown of a high-voltage line, leaving several neighborhoods without power.
