Poland Detained In Railroad Sabotage Case

Several people have been detained in Poland in the case of sabotage on the railroad. This was announced at a briefing by the spokesman for the minister-coordinator of the intelligence services Jacek Dobrzyński, PAP reports.

He emphasized that on Wednesday Polish services have much more information and have come on the trail of the orderers and perpetrators of the railroad sabotage.

"I confirm that the first detentions are now already taking place. The persons involved are being detained by the ABW and the police, and at this stage I cannot provide more details," Dobrzyński said.

He added that investigative actions are ongoing and the case is dynamic and evolving.

The spokesman said he could not yet speak about a specific number, but several people have been detained in the case. "These individuals are now being interrogated and the role of each in this terrorist attack is being established. The detentions are continuing. We do not exclude new detentions," - said Dobrzyński.

He pointed out that the detentions are taking place on the territory of Poland.

We will recall that citizens of Ukraine are suspected of blowing up the railroad leading from Poland to Ukraine. This was announced by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Both arrived in the country from Belarus and crossed the Polish-Belarusian border again after the sabotage.
