After a gas pipeline explosion near the Rostovka settlement in the Omsk region, several enterprises were disconnected from gas. This was reported by the governor of the region Vitaly Khotsenko in his Telegram channel.
Khotsenko explained that now boiler houses receive gas through reserve pipelines, and additional fuel has been prepared for them. According to him, it may take 24 hours to restore gas supply. The regional government continues to coordinate actions on this issue.
The incident occurred in the early morning of November 18. Local residents said that the explosion affected residential neighborhoods, the glow from the fire was visible at a great distance.
Khotsenko said that the accident occurred at an underground section of the main gas pipeline branch. According to one of the versions, there was a gas leak from the gas pipeline. The official specified that local residents are not threatened.
