Head Of The Lithuanian Interior Ministry: The Meeting Of The Lithuanian And Belarusian Sides Will Take Place Soon

They'll talk about smuggling.

Lithuanian Interior Minister Vladislav Kondratovich said that a technical meeting of the Lithuanian and Belarusian sides will be held soon to address the issue of air smuggling, writes Delfi.

"I hope Belarus has realized that it will not get out of the current situation, because weather probes are still being launched from the Belarusian territory. (...) We see that criminals operate on both sides of the border, so naturally the officials have something to talk about. They will do it in the near future," Kondratovich told reporters.

"We're talking about a criminal phenomenon - smuggling, there's no politics here. We need to solve this issue so that our airspace is protected, so that nothing threatens our civil aviation and society," the politician said.
