The "Skala" Assault Regiment Took The Russian Fortress In Pokrovsk

The AFU continue fierce fighting in Pokrovsk, one of the heaviest areas of the front. The AFU General Staff published a new video of the work of assault groups of the 425th assault regiment "Skala" - one of the most experienced and effective units in this area.

The footage shows Ukrainian equipment entering the city, infantry landing and groups advancing into the eastern part of Pokrovsk. Additional units are reinforcing their positions, setting up new blocking lines and beginning to mop up neighborhoods.

Mop-up operations and securing logistics

According to the General Staff, members of the 1st Assault Battalion have completely cleared a fortified stronghold of Russian forces in the northern part of the city. This has secured an important logistical route inside Pokrovsk - critical for holding the defense and maneuvering units.

"Several more assault groups are moving out to the railroad to link up with existing positions. Other footage shows the mopping up of areas on the western outskirts and the approach to the city. In the administrative building in the center of Pokrovsk, our fighters hold key positions," the report says.

Colossal Russian losses

Russian losses in Pokrovsk remain monstrous: 20 to 50 Russian soldiers are killed in small arms battles only per day. At the same time, the occupiers continue to throw more and more groups into the city, despite the fog, chaos in the streets and the complete dominance of Ukrainian drones.
