Lukashenko: Enough Of These Palaces And Cultural Objects Already

The usurper called not to build more museums and sanatoriums, but to direct the money to agriculture.

Alexander Lukashenko during the meeting on the draft forecast documents for 2026 called to reconsider the issues of construction under the state programs, reports the press service of the dictator.

"At the same time, I want to note that the Prime Minister, I'm sure, will fulfill this - he is instructed in no case not to engage in construction and creation of things that today and tomorrow, perhaps, we can do without. I see these offices, palaces on the ground. There's something else there," said Lukashenko.

As a higher priority alternative, he called the construction of cattle complexes, as well as residential buildings.

"Enough of these palaces and cultural facilities. It is probably more important to build housing for people. Don't throw money you don't have. We should assess the situation objectively and stop building all kinds of museums, recreation centers and other things. These should be used," pointed out the dictator.

He reminded that the construction of a new building of the National Historical Museum, in which both the state's money and funds from charitable donations are invested, is underway.

"And this one museum is enough [we are talking about the construction of a new building in Minsk. - Note]. It is enough! People will come and look, because there is already an ocean of them on the ground. The same is true for other objects," said Lukashenko.

It should be noted that Lukashenko has built about two dozen palaces for himself.
