What Is Known About The Belarusian Woman Who Could Have Been Sold For Organs In Myanmar?
Vera Kravtsova

Belarusian diplomats are looking for her.

The Belarusian woman who, according to media reports, was killed and sold for organs in Myanmar is 26-year-old Minsk native Vera Kravtsova. This was reported by Russian magazine The Voice.

Vera's social media accounts include images from photo shoots - including from China. She has also visited Vietnam, Bali. The last post in Instagram Belarusian published five weeks ago. At that time, the girl was in St. Petersburg (Russia).

The media wrote that in 2017 the Minsk woman took part in the vocal show "The Voice" - but no. She once performed in a Minsk club in front of a banner of a local burlesque festival stylized as "The Voice," writes the Mash telegram channel.

The Voice reports that Vera recently came across an offer for part-time modeling work in Thailand. She flew to Bangkok, where she found herself in labor slavery. On Sept. 20, she was taken to the city of Yangon in Myanmar, The Voice writes. There she had to work in a scam center - "where girls flirt with men on dating sites, offering to invest in something, and then transfer the funds to scammers," the publication noted.

According to the Russian TV channel Mash, communication with the Belarusian woman disappeared on October 4.

"First, they demanded $500,000 from her relatives for her body, and a few days later they said that the deceased was cremated. Now the family is negotiating the return of ashes to their homeland," wrote Mash.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus later informed about the fact that Myanmar was looking for a missing Belarusian woman. They noted that contact with the girl, according to her mother, was lost on October 4.

It is reliably established that the Belarusian flew to Yangon (Myanmar) from Bangkok (Thailand) on September 20. Foreign policy and security agencies of the two countries, as well as the staff of the honorary consulates of Belarus in Yangon and Bangkok are involved in the measures, said the Foreign Ministry.

It should be noted that the Belarusian Foreign Ministry did not give the surname of the Belarusian woman.
