Zelensky Announces 'Greatest Victory Of The Entire War'

Russia has lost almost 60,000 troops at the Ukrainian frontline.

The Kursk operation of the Ukrainian forces has become one of the main victories of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky today, January 9, during a speech at a meeting in the Ramstein format, FREEDOM reports.

"Let's consider, for example, the Kursk operation — this is one of our victories, I think, one of the biggest victories not only last year, but also during the entire war. Russia had to withdraw almost 60,000 troops from the Ukrainian front," the president emphasized.

He recalled that this Monday, January 6, five months have passed since Ukrainian troops held the buffer zone on Russian territory.

"Many Russian threats and bold statements turned out to be a bluff - especially after the Ukrainians entered the Kursk region. And I am sure that even more of their threats will turn out to be a bluff if we all work even more persistently to push Russia towards peace,” Zelensky emphasized, addressing the participants of the Rammstein meeting.
