People are queueing for days.

A record queue has formed at the Brest checkpoint (Terespol on the Polish side). According to data from the morning of January 6, more than 2,100 passenger cars registered in the electronic queue are waiting to leave for Poland, Deutsche Welle reports.

According to users of border chats, about 350 cars cross the border per day. If this rate continues, the border crossing could take about six days.

According to users, the wait to cross the border by bus is up to a day and a half. Minsktrans reports that buses arrive in Warsaw and depart from it with a significant delay.

After Lithuania and Latvia banned the entry of cars with Belarusian license plates, Poland remained the only country where cars registered in Belarus are allowed to enter. The owner must be behind the wheel. At the moment, there is only one checkpoint for passenger cars on the Belarusian-Polish border — “Brest - Terespol”.
