Serbian mercenary Bratislav Živković, who was previously declared an undesirable person in Romania for espionage activities in favour of Russia, was killed in battles in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

"On the night of January 2, in heavy fighting for the liberation of Kursk region, our friend and comrade, the commander of the assault platoon Bratislav Živković died as a hero," the Russian Telegram channel said.

Živković headed the extremist organization Chetnik Pokrov in Serbia. He participated in hostilities on the side of pro-Russian forces since 2014 and also carried out espionage activities in Romania.
