Russian Command In Donetsk Region Ordered Its Military To Use Civilian Equipment

The command of the Russian occupation army forces the use of civilian transport for military purposes. Such an order was given to artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces in the territory of Donetsk region.

In addition, the invaders were prohibited from using military uniforms and insignia. This was reported on Telegram by the military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars “Atesh”.

An agent of the movement from among the Russian military personnel in Donetsk region confirmed that the invaders are forced to disguise themselves as local residents. For this, the enemy uses local residents' transport.

According to the partisans, the Russian command ordered the transportation of ammunition in cars, trailers or minibuses, with a limit of up to 10 shells per vehicle.

Atesh noted that such actions by Russians are a gross violation of the Geneva Convention and the rules of warfare, as well as another crime by Russian occupation forces.

Moreover, such actions by Putin's army not only endanger the civilian population, but also serve as a tool for provocations aimed at accusing the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
