ISW: Ukrainian Army Forces Russians To Play Their Game In Kursk Region

The occupiers are quickly changing their plans.
Analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) have announced the situation with the fighting in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation over the past 24 hours.
The fighting is taking place to the south and east of Korenevo, in the area of Shtepukhovka and Malaya Loknya, while Pogrebki has moved into the "gray zone".
On this section of the front, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are confronted by occupiers from the 810th and 155th Marine Brigades of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, Ukrainian milblogger Kostiantyn Mashovets said that the day before, the Russian Ministry of Defence decided to transfer one airborne and one reconnaissance battalion from the 106th Division to the Kursk region, which had previously been fighting in the Kramatorsk direction. And from the Kurakhovsky direction, the enemy is also transferring forces from the 20th Motorized Division.
It is worth noting that earlier the Russians did not want to transfer troops from the Donbas direction until the last minute. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine forced the occupiers to play their game.
Representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko said that the military operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region provides an opportunity to strengthen defensive structures in the Sumy region.
The day before, footage of the destruction of the last bridge across the Seim River near Karyzh appeared online.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also continue to attack enemy territory with drones. On September 8, Belgorod Governor Gladkov said that drones caused a fire at one of the factories in Nikolskoye and at a fuel depot in the Volokonovsky district of the region.
