Media: Orbán Flies To Moscow Via Belarus

The Hungarian Prime Minister hinted at some “delicate steps.”

A plane flew from Budapest to Belarus. The media believe that Viktor Orbán is flying to Moscow on it. Orbán himself did not confirm his visit to Moscow the day before, which the media had previously written about, but hinted at some “delicate steps” that could follow.

On the air of the Kossuth radio station, he was asked about the next actions after the meeting with Zelensky in Kyiv, writes Country Politics.

“Since these steps are very delicate, they can only be discussed after they take place,” the Hungarian Prime Minister said.

Orbán also said that Budapest “would like to push the Russian Federation and Ukraine to conclude peace, but understands that the organization of such negotiations will be handled by major powers.”

It is worth noting that Brussels did not give the Hungarian Prime Minister a mandate to negotiate with Putin, and the visit is taking place within the framework of bilateral relations between the parties.
