Poland To Send Military To France

To help with security at the Olympics.

Poland has agreed to send its soldiers to France to help with security measures during the Summer Olympics.

As reported by "European Truth", this was written by Polish Minister of Defence Władysław Marcin Kosiniak-Kamysz on Twitter (X).

The day before, the French Defence Ministry mentioned Poland when talking about involving military from allied countries in security measures.

"Poland's armed forces will join the international coalition created by France to support the preparation and security of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games," Kosiniak-Kamysz wrote.

According to him, an operational team, including cinematologists with dogs, will be sent to Paris.

The main task of the group will be the detection of explosive devices and anti-terrorist activities, added the Polish Minister.

The day before it became known that France plans to involve the military from a number of partner countries in security measures during the Summer Olympics in Paris.

Before that it became known that the French security forces will check up to a million people before the Olympic Games, including athletes and people who live near key infrastructure.

Also all airports around Paris will be closed during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
