Ukrainian Forces Downed One More Russian Su-34

The Ukrainian military shot down another Russian Su-34 aircraft. The board "landed" on Monday, February 26.

This is reported by the Telegram of the commander of the Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk.

"Minus another Su-34 in the eastern direction! Yesterday, Russian pilots managed to dodge our missiles, but this will not always be the case!" he wrote.

Oleshchuk advised the occupiers to see their relatives before each flight, just in case.

“For who knows, lucky or not this time,” he added.

In recent days, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already destroyed 9 Russian aircraft, including this one. So, on February 23, the Defence Forces reported that a Russian A-50 aircraft was shot down over the Sea of Azov. This is the second A-50 that the Ukrainian forces destroyed since the beginning of the war.

On February 21, the Su-34 was shot down. In addition, on February 19, the Ukrainian forces shot down two more Russian aircraft in the east. According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, these aircraft carried out attacks by KAB bombs on the positions of Ukrainian forces. On February 18, the Armed Forces of Ukraine "landed" a Russian Su-34 fighter bomber in the east.

On February 17, it became known that the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three Russian aircraft — two Su-34 fighter-bombers and one Su-35 fighter. They were also shot down on the eastern front.
