Belarusian Falls From Mountain In The Alps, Flies Hundred Meters Downhill

He was taken by helicopter to the clinic.

In the Austrian Alps, a dangerous incident happened to a 37-year-old Belarusian citizen living in Germany: while climbing a mountain, he slipped and fell, flying 100 meters down the slope. This is reported by the Belarus and the World publication with a reference to the police of the federal state of Tyrol.

The incident happened on March 5 at about 12.55 pm. Our compatriot with a group of six more climbers climbed to the top of the Zuckerhütl (3507 m), located near the city of Innsbruck.

About 50 meters short of the peak, he photographed the opening view of the valley, but slipped and flew about 100 meters down a steep, rocky snow slope.

As a result of the fall, the man received injuries of undetermined severity and was taken by rescue helicopter to a clinic in Innsbruck.
