How Can Belarusians Get Visas To Leave The Country?

About intermediaries and prices.

Readers of the BGM Telegram channel write about how they make visas to leave Belarus. Intermediaries, they say, sell queue places for hundreds of dollars:

“We've got visas for two people. National visa with a work permit for one year. Registration at the visa center through an intermediary costs BYR 600. Visa center fee - EUR 11. SMS - BYR 5.5. Delivery of a passport from Brest to Minsk - BYR 16. An employer invitation - free. They registered us for application in the Brest visa center in two weeks. The visa was ready in six days. We will soon leave the “island of stability and insanity” for Europe.”

“My husband and I are going through the process of applying for Polish national visas. We thought about this after the announcement of mobilization in Russia, since this could also affect our country. Both of us are liable for military service, so there were no other thoughts. At first, we surfed the Internet for information, to know how to start, at least. Searching for a job directly and receiving an invitation from an employer in Poland is not suitable, since very few of them agree to make an invitation at a loss and wait for a long time. We've chosen another way. On the advice of a friend, we contacted a man who helped to prepare all the necessary documents for a satisfactory price, unlike many other agents and companies. Currently, we are undergoing the process of registration for visa application in the consulate, this is the most difficult thing. The total price for two people will amount to about 2,000-2,500 Belarusian rubles.”

"I applied for a British visa back in April this year. In fact, I only received it at the beginning of September, and that was late because it was already valid from mid-August. As a result, half a year of waiting. I wanted to get a Polish one at the same time, but there were no places to register, and an intermediary wanted $400. As a result, only British visa."

“BYR 400 in advance to the intermediary, another BYR 100 upon the fact of queue registration and receipt of the fulfilled application. I'd been waiting for 1.5 months."

Have you or someone you know recently applied for visas?
