Ukrainian Colonel: AFU To Arrange Another Mousetrap For Russian Army Within This Week

The locality where the occupiers will be surrounded has been named.

Military expert, Colonel Roman Svitan has described in detail how the Ukrainian armed forces will liberate Luhansk Region from the occupants.

He spoke about how events in Luhansk Region would unfold on air of the Apostrof TV channel.

The Ukrainian military officer also gave a forecast of the timeframe for creating a new "mousetrap" by the Ukrainian armed forces, naming the settlement where it would be created.

The AFU colonel spoke in great detail about the AFU's actions to liberate Luhansk Region: "They are moving eastwards from Makiivka in Luhansk Region, cutting the road between Svatove and Kremenna, between the Svatove garrison and the Kremenna-Rubizhne-Severodonetsk garrison. I think there will be an attack into the rear of both the Svatove grouping from the side of Makiivka, and a breakthrough into the front from the side of Makiivka... Most likely, there will be the same breakthrough as there was in Balaklia and next there will be a way out to the operational space. Ukrainian troops will go to the rear of the Svatove grouping and to the rear of the Rubizhne-Severodonetsk grouping".

Sharing his opinion on the Ukrainian military's counter-offensive in the Luhansk direction of the front, Svitan added: "The Svatove grouping from the North, where our bridgehead is still developing, it will also be taken in the "pincers" from the North. That is why the nearest "mousetrap" we will hear about will be the Svatove "mousetrap". It will be within probably this week".
