Belnautakhim Expects To Get Not $155, But $61 Million For Dirty Oil

Has Russia forced the concern to limit its appetites?

Belnautakhim press secretary Aliaksandr Tsishchanka told BelTA on February 26 that the concern had detected 536 thousand tons of dirty Russian oil, for which it expects over $61 million of compensation, Radio Svaboda reports.

As it is noted, a month ago the concern head, Andrei Rybakou, referred to twice as large volumes of dirty oil: "there were about 1.2 million tons of dirty oil in the country".

The day before Rybakou's deputy Uladzimir Sizou said that the concern expects from Russia compensation "by analogy with other parties, which "were involved in the incident with dirty oil" - $15 per barrel.

If we assume that the country was supplied with the previously mentioned 1.2 million tons of oil, the barrel of which weighs 0.1373 tons, it would appear that Russia owes about $131.1 million - more than twice as much as Tsishchanka says.
