Serbian Ambassador to Belarus Veljko Kovacevic has been hospitalized.

As the embassy informed NN, he was seeing off Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at the airport in Minsk, and there the diplomat got sick.

As Nexta reports in his telegram-channel, the ambassador felt bad at the Chyzhouka-Arena and was taken to the Emergency Hospital, where he was placed in the intensive care unit. The preliminary diagnosis is a stroke.

The embassy notes that the exact diagnosis is still unknown, as Kovacevic is undergoing examination.
