Mothers-328 Hunger Strike Participants Called Ambulance

The activists have been on hunger strike for nine days.

In the village Ostrau, Pukhavichy district, a hunger strike of Mothers-328 activists, who seek to liberalize the antidrug Article 328 of the Criminal Code, continues for the ninth day, Radio Svaboda reports.

Three women started the hunger strike on 11 June. A day later, Stas Tsybinski, a human rights defender from Time Out, joined them. He had health problems today.

According to Alena Kuzmina, they had to call an ambulance to the Ostrau in the morning of June 20.

"Stas Tsybinsky, a human rights defender from Time Out, who came to support us, lost consciousness before our eyes. It is good that the ambulance managed to help him. Now he is resting and recovering," – Alena Kuzmina said.

According to Stas Tsybinsky, he has been on hunger strike for 8 days, he does not live in Ostrau and comes to the people who are on hunger strike between working days. He works as a barman.

In the recent past, Stas Tsybinsky himself served two years in prison under Article 328 and believes that this article should be amended more than the "deputies" of the "House of Representatives" suggested.
