The First Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supports the transfer of "Minsk".

Irina Gerashchenko wrote about that on her Facebook page.

"I support this position, and have been advocating it for a long time. I have repeatedly expressed my disagreement and indignation with the voting of Belarus in the UN on all the issues relating to Ukraine, the occupied Crimea and the Donbas.

The references to the neutral status of Belarus do not withstand any criticism, because neutral countries (as it was shown by the current vote on including the issue of the occupation of the Crimea and the Donbas on the agenda of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly) at least abstained, voted with a yellow button. Belarus once again gelled with the Russian Federation and was among the shameful "13", who voted against by pressing the red button," – Gerashchenko stressed.

According to the First Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, such actions of Belarus demonstrate not a neutral position, but "a play into Moscow’s hands."

"Such a stance completely contradicts the status of the country, which is a platform for peaceful negotiations on the settlement of the situation in the Donbas. I am for moving the platform to a truly neutral country that will not play up to Moscow and will not vote with the Kremlin in unison," – she added.

Gerashchenko notes that in addition to the voting, which was very unfriendly to Ukraine, Belarus, in favor of Moscow, declared Ukrainian journalists and artists personas non grata. Besides, Pavel Grib was kidnapped in Belarus and transferred to the FSB.

"All this is not corrected in any way with a neutral status, on the contrary, there is a smell of prudent coordination of its actions with the Kremlin," – she summed up.
