A leader of Vitsebsk entrepreneurs, Iryna Yaskevich, stated that, commenting on the blocking of the Charter97.org site in Belarus:

– It seems to me that the reasons for blocking are always the same. This is an attempt to get off the truth, not to give people an alternative point of view. Naturally, this is absolutely unacceptable.

We held a picket in support of Charter-97 in Vitsebsk on February 1. We believe that there should be several opinions and people themselves must choose, draw conclusions about what to read and what not.
