Armenian Prime Minister told how he treats the scenario voiced by the dictator.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on statements about the "Ukrainian scenario" due to a possible change of foreign policy course, as well as the alleged need to hold a referendum on the choice between membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the European Union.
Pashinian's comments came at a briefing on Sunday, June 7, after he cast his ballot in the parliamentary elections being held in Armenia today.
When asked about the threats of Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko regarding a possible "Ukrainian scenario" for Armenia, Pashinyan succinctly replied, "You know, it's not serious."
He also noted that Armenia cannot be deprived of the EEU membership status because "decisions there are made by consensus."
"As for holding a referendum - EAEU or EU, there should be a subject of the referendum, and for that Armenia should at least officially apply to become a member of the EU or get the status of an EU candidate," NEWS.am quoted Pashinyan as saying.
Now, the Armenian prime minister pointed out, there is neither.
