Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said he sees no problems in the content of a publicized conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, calling the communication style normal for international contacts.

On Wednesday, April 8, during the air of Blikk Talk, Viktor Orban commented on the situation around the published recording of a conversation with the Russian leader.
In the recording, which was circulated by the media, he used an allusion to the fable about a mouse and a lion and declared his readiness to "become Putin's mouse."
Orban also noted that he did not consider the details presented in the media as compromising and did not see any grounds for loud conclusions.
The prime minister explained that this manner of communication between politicians is a common practice.
He said that friendly addresses are often used in relations with various world leaders, including the US president, European partners, the Russian leadership and representatives of Central Asian countries.
He added that he sees nothing unusual in the use of such formulations and considers them part of diplomatic etiquette.
