Iran Has Attacked The UAE, Kuwait And Bahrain

Despite the truce.

The United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain reported missile and drone attacks on their territories despite a two-week truce between the US and Iran, Al Jazeera writes.

The UAE Ministry of Defense said their air defense systems intercepted missiles and drones launched from Iran. Explosions were heard in various parts of the country.

Kuwait said Iranian drones hit key oil facilities, power plants and desalination plants, causing serious damage to infrastructure. Kuwaiti authorities said air defense systems shot down 28 drones that attacked the country at 08:00 local time.

In Bahrain, the Interior Ministry said Tehran launched drones hours after the US announced a ceasefire. Two people were injured and several houses were damaged by falling debris.

In the morning, explosions erupted in the capital Manama, with smoke rising from an area on Sitra Island, where Bahrain's main energy facilities are located.
