There are key contradictions.
Negotiations between the US and Iran on a long-term truce may be moving forward, but the content of Tehran's proposed plan is in doubt.
A ten-point document could be "the basis for an agreement," according to Donald Trump, but media leaks show that the sides' positions remain far apart, writes Bild.
Iran, according to Tasnim and Fars agencies close to the authorities, is demanding continued control over the Strait of Hormuz, the right to enrich uranium and the lifting of international sanctions. Other conditions include withdrawal of US troops from the region, compensation for damage and cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon.
At the same time, a softer version of the plan says Tehran is ready to limit its nuclear program and abandon the development of nuclear weapons.
A separate attention is drawn to the discrepancy in the versions of the document: the clause on the right to enrich uranium appears in the Persian version, but is absent in the English version. This contradicts a key U.S. goal of preventing Iran from building nuclear weapons.
Trump says the possible agreement "fully resolves" the nuclear issue and calls the two-week pause in hostilities "a complete victory."
Further details are expected at a Pentagon briefing with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Dan Kane.
