Russia Has A Missed Shot
Sergey Misyura

The Ukrainian Navy showed a truly unique operation.

Everyone saw the news about the defeat of the Kalibrov carrier Admiral Grigorovich, which turned out to be Makarov; the Sheskharis oil terminal in the same Novorossiysk, where the frigate Makarov got "missed". And - quite quietly the news about the airborne operation of our Navy and Unmanned Systems Force on the Sivash drilling rig flew by. And there are many details that show the scale of the operation.

The Sivash rig was used by the Russians to control the sea and air situation. It is a buffer zone to control our assets on the road to occupied Crimea. Here the Russians had optical and radar means of control.

The guards are from elite units, the publicized videos show shooting at our crewless boats (BECs). They were also in charge of the available REB and air defense equipment. In a word - a good reconnaissance sentry center with means of communication, reconnaissance and countermeasures.

The scale - a large and important target, plus a significant number of means involved: Ukrainian crewless boats, anti-ship missiles, long-range drones and objective control drones!

Now on the means.

1) SBS as part of 413 Regiment Reid worked with FP drones.

2) Crewless boats turned out to be not Maguras (Ukrainian surface unmanned boat - Ed.), but Sargan 3000. The final shots show in general that it is not a kamikaze boat, but a floating turret with a machine gun. The enemy was suppressed with small arms - I understand the shock of the Russian specialists, when a machine gun fires from the sea, a drone and several cruise missiles fly from the sky.

3) Missiles - a very interesting moment in the video! There you can clearly see the rectangular silhouette of the transport and launch container (TLC), and as everyone knows, our Neptune anti-ship missile has cylindrical TLCs. That is, it is either a new Neptune with a parallelepiped TLC, or it is a Swedish anti-ship missile RBS-15 with a 200 kg warhead for a range of 200 km. And perhaps this is the first such launch on the Russians with such missiles.

I am very much waiting for details from the Navy.

That is why the video of the Sivash installation operation excites me much more than another strike on a Kalibr carrier or on the Sheskharis terminal.

Yes, this is a cool and already systematic, not a one-off operation on "laptops", but the Ukrainian Navy showed a really unique operation with unique means of defeat.
