Ilya Protas, 19, Has Been Called Up To Washington's Main Roster

19-year-old Belarusian forward Ilya Protas has been called up to the main roster of the Washington Capitals, the press service of the club from the U.S. capital reports.

This season, the younger brother of Washington forward Alexei Protas made his debut in the American Hockey League. The Belarusian scored 62 (28+34) points in 66 games for Hershey, where he is both the best in goals and points (goal+pass).

If Ilya makes his debut for Washington, he will become the 19th Belarusian in the National Hockey League since 1992.
