The Russians have started massively supplying new small-sized Spirit-030 satellite communication terminals to the front, which are harder to detect due to their compact antennas.

This was stated by the adviser to the Ukrainian Defense Minister on technological directions Sergey Beskrestnov (FLASH), his Telegram reports.

According to the expert, after losing access to Starlink, the issue of satellite communications has become critical for the occupants. The old Russian terminals have antennas with a diameter of 90 centimeters, which allows the AFU to quickly detect and destroy them.

The new Spirit-030 model works with a special geostationary satellite, which reduced the size of the antenna to 30 centimeters. This makes them more mobile and less visible to reconnaissance.

"Russians have now massively started to supply such terminals to the front. In fact, it is the same satellite internet terminal, but it is made portable," Beskrestnov noted.

Despite its compactness, Ukrainian defenders have already managed to record the use of this equipment. The first such terminal was detected and eliminated by pilots of the 414th separate brigade of strike unmanned aerial systems "Birds of Magyar".

Sergey Beskrestnov urged all drone operators to pay special attention to these targets, as they are a priority for defeat.
