The country's authorities allowed most vessels to operate during daylight hours.
Qatar officially announced the resumption of maritime navigation after temporary restrictions related to the situation in the Strait of Hormuz. Authorities have allowed the movement of most vessels during certain daytime periods. However, safety requirements remain reinforced.
Separate, more flexible rules apply to the fishing fleet. This was announced by Qatar's Ministry of Transport on social media X.
The full restoration of navigation for all types of sea vessels came into effect on Sunday from 06:00 to 18:00. This decision was the next step after previous restrictions imposed due to security risks in the region.

At the same time, vessels licensed for fishing activities are allowed to go to sea without time restrictions - all day long. This decision is intended to support the local fishing sector and avoid economic losses.
The ministry also called on all ship owners and crews to strictly follow the instructions and check the serviceability of equipment before going to sea.
