"Ukraine has some of the world's best technology that it developed here during the war. I think it can be useful in the Middle East, as we're already seeing in the fight against Shahed drones, all the way to the Strait of Hormuz," he said.

Carnes added that his visit is proof that the war in Ukraine remains a key UK defense and security priority. He said the UK could learn a lot from Ukraine - for example, in areas such as UAV technology, the use of data and artificial intelligence in weaponry.
