The Holy Fire descended in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.

According to Orthodox tradition, the Holy Fire appears annually on Great Saturday before Easter in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Its removal from the Kuvukliya (the chapel above the Holy Sepulchre) symbolizes the Resurrection of Christ - the exit of the "true light" from the tomb.

The service is broadcast around the world, and the fire itself is annually delivered by special flights to many countries, including Belarus.

It is reported that it will be delivered to Belarus tomorrow, on Orthodox Easter.
