Ukraine Returns 175 Servicemen From Russian Captivity

Most of them have been in captivity since 2022.

Ukraine and aggressor country Russia held a prisoner-of-war exchange on Saturday, April 11. 175 military personnel returned to Ukraine, President Vladimir Zelensky reported.

The military of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Service, as well as seven civilian Ukrainians returned home, Zelensky specified.

Most of those exchanged had been in captivity since 2022. They defended Mariupol, Chernobyl nuclear power plant, fought in Donetsk, Lugansk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Sumy, Kiev and Kursk directions.
