The ruler's thoughts and statements are copied from the methodologies for Soviet political officers.
Lukashenka's recent theses first amused the teasers, and then frightened them. It's a joke: just yesterday the ruler was swelling with pride that he was able to preserve peace on the "piece" of land entrusted to him by heavenly forces. And here the concept changed as quickly as the weather this spring.
From now on, we should all prepare for war and not think that we will be able to hobble along while the world's rulers fight for peace - traditionally in such a way that no stone can be left unturned from this world.
Butaphor's field marshal's uniform and the autocrat's epaulettes should have strengthened confidence that the enemy would certainly be "defeated with little blood and on someone else's territory". However, the propagandists have a slight stupor, while the officials are used to playing the role of a possum even under less stress.
At the end of the day, the public space is still not very much rocked by the new message voiced by Lukashenko, but some movements towards preparation for the inevitable have already been outlined.
A careful observer notes that the general preparation of the armed forces for the regional "movement" of planetary importance has been going on for a long time, but there are some signs that the civil vertical has started to prepare for this very "movement".
In particular, district executive committees have started to buy bulletproof vests - not only for themselves, but also for the "militia", which one way or another are going to take up arms in the conditional "hour C".
On the one hand, such purchases are another fertile ground for sawing, kickbacks and other traditional activities of "responsible persons". However, you should agree that sawing on green spaces or endless painting of facades is much more pleasant and convenient than on bulletproof vests. The gradual transition of logic from peaceful to military is taking place right now.
As for the message that the whole society received on April 1 and immediately went to, it is not new. Like many previous "ingenious" thoughts and statements of Lukashenko, the thesis about the imminent war and preparation for it is lumped together with methodicals for political officers of the late Brezhnev times. Back then, too, the whole life passed under the sign of confrontation between East and West.
True, then the U.S. was an unambiguous adversary, and now between the Trump administration and the house at 38 Karl Marx, as they write in social networks, the status of "everything is complicated". But the guys are finding common ground in their persistent dislike of Europe, which is once again becoming the main pillar of democracy in this world that is faltering from side to side.
