AFU Hit Russian Drilling Rigs In The Caspian Sea

They're 1,000 kilometers away.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces hit two Russian drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea, which were providing fuel to the occupation troops.

The General Staff of the AFU reports.

The military said that on the night of April 10, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked facilities on the Caspian Sea shelf.

The operation was carried out as part of the strategy to reduce the military and economic potential of the Russian Federation.

Preliminary data shows that the ice-resistant fixed platforms (LSP-2) at the V. Grayfer field and (LSP-1) at the Yuri Korchagin field came under attack.

These facilities are located in the north of the Caspian Sea, at a distance of almost 1,000 kilometers from the front line. The platforms are an important link in providing fuel and lubricants to the aggressor's army.

The military command noted that such strikes will continue in the future.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to hit important facilities of the occupants until a complete cessation of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine," the General Staff stated.
