Lukashenko found a replacement for him.
The National Legal Internet Portal today officially published a decree on the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak. The 63-year-old official had held the post since September 2020.
The personnel reshuffle in the government began the day before: Lukashenko appointed Alexander Terekhov to the vacant seat. The new deputy prime minister previously headed the association "Minskstroy," as well as served as Minister of Housing and Communal Services.
The resignation of a civil servant in Belarus is a voluntary termination of service by a person with at least 20 years of service, or reaching the age limit. The application is submitted one month before the date, the resignation is executed by the decision of the employer, and the right to it is realized only once.
