Ukraine Has Received 11 Requests For Shahed Protection From The U.S., Europe And Iran's Neighbors

Kyiv has already responded to some of the requests with concrete solutions and support.

As of now, there are 11 requests from Iran's neighboring countries, Europe and the United States, for support in countering Iran's "Shaheds" and other similar challenges.

This was announced on Monday, March 9, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky declared.

"Clear interest in Ukrainian experience in defense of life, appropriate interceptors, REB (electronic warfare - ed.) systems, training," Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president stressed that the country is ready to respond positively to the requests of those who help protect the lives of Ukrainians and the independence of his country.

"We have already responded to some of the requests with concrete solutions, concrete support," Volodymyr Zelenskyy specified.

He said that the National Security Council (NSDC), the General Staff and the Defense Forces will determine what other requests Ukraine can respond to approvingly. So that it does not reduce its own capabilities to defend itself, the Ukrainian leader stressed.

"Ukraine's priority is clear: the Iranian regime should not get any advantage over the defenders of life, and we need to work all together for tangible stabilization both in the region and in global markets," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.

The president recalled that the country has long been offering its partners to update and strengthen joint capabilities to defend life.
