A Corruption Scandal Broke Out At An Enterprise In Minsk Region

The foreman allegedly took kickbacks.

The head of the shop of one of the city-forming enterprises in Minsk voblast is suspected of corruption, reported in the Interior Ministry.

According to the agency, the defendant selected contractors for repair of machinery and for the choice of a commercial entity as a service provider set the amount of kickback from 10 to 50% of the cost of work performed.

Operatives recorded the receipt of a bribe of Br19 thousand.

Investigators opened a criminal case. The defendant faces up to 10 years of imprisonment.
