The head of the U.S. Department of Energy issued a statement.
Stable energy supplies, including liquefied natural gas (LNG) and oil, will resume after the US neutralizes the Iranian threat to the Strait of Hormuz. This was stated by the head of the US Department of Energy Chris Wright on Fox News.
"We are significantly reducing their ability to conduct missile and drone strikes, and the rate of that reduction will increase in the coming days. So we're going to be cautious, we're going to be cautious, but the power supply is going to resume soon," Wright said.
He added that there is no need to worry about short-term price increases in petroleum products, gas and fertilizer as supplies from the Persian Gulf are expected to arrive soon.
