Rubio Told Gulf Ministers When War With Iran Could End

Washington wants other people to run the country.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told Gulf foreign ministers that the war against Iran will last a few more weeks. This is reported by Axios citing sources.

It is noted that Rubio told the ministers that the military's main focus now is on Iranian missile installations, warehouses and factories.

At the same time, according to the sources, he made it clear: Washington wants other people to run the country.

Rubio added that the US is not conducting any dialog with Tehran right now, as any negotiations at this stage would undermine the current military objectives.

Axios writes that the US and Israeli strikes are continuing for the seventh day in a row. Iran and its proxies - Hezbollah in Lebanon and Shiite groups in Iraq - continue to launch missiles and drones at U.S. bases, Israel and the Gulf states.

The pace and scale of Iranian attacks, however, has slowed significantly. Adm. Brad Cooper said Iranian missile attacks are down 90 percent from the first day of the war.
