There are fewer and fewer supporters of war in Russia.
Putin's rating, according to the state-run VTsIOM, has reached its lowest level since the war began - less than a third trust him. Both support for United Russia and the number of supporters of the war have fallen to a minimum, writes the Telegram channel "We can explain".
The latest polls by the state-run VTsIOM and the independent Levada Center showed a decline in trust in the president and United Russia and war fatigue.
The data released today shows that in late February, only 32.1% of Russians named Putin in response to a request to name any politician they trusted (VTsIOM open poll). This is the lowest result since the war with Ukraine. The peak of trust in Putin was recorded in March 2024 - 48.8%, since then it has decreased one and a half times.
Antirecord for the entire time of the war was also shown by United Russia - six months before the elections to the Duma, only 31.8% of Russians are ready to vote for the party of power. In this case, the poll was closed, that is, respondents chose an option from those offered. Other parties are even less popular - they gained 6-10%. At the same time, 12% of respondents do not want to participate in the elections at all or are going to spoil the ballot.
Already two-thirds of Russians (67%) want peace talks with Ukraine, the Levada Center poll shows. The number of supporters of continuing the war, on the contrary, has dropped to 24%. An increase in the request for peace and a decrease in support for war can be traced in Levada's polls since the fall of 2024. And now, in both categories, these are record highs.
