Z-propagandist told why Russia wants to block Telegram.
The acute economic crisis into which the Russian Federation is sliding is forcing the Kremlin to take risky measures. The possibility of a social explosion is enormous.
This opinion was expressed in his blog by Maksim Kalashnikov, a Russian Z-blogger and close friend of war criminal Igor Strelkov, writes "Dialogue".
Kalashnikov drew attention to the huge hole that is growing in the Russian budget. He makes no secret of the fact that this is the result of the war of attrition in which the Russian Federation is bogged down.
"We have a hole in the budget growing as the war drags on, which we warned about. The war should not have been allowed to drag on... In addition to the planned figures, there are a lot of other expenses to help state corporations and others. All this is increasing at an alarming rate. Oil and gas revenues are falling. Tax hikes have had no effect," Kalashnikov said.
According to him, the Kremlin is preparing two very unpopular measures to contain the collapse of the economy and continue the war. It is about freezing bank deposits of Russians. Also, the Russian authorities may oblige budgetary employees to give a significant part of their salaries to the war. He said that the urgent blocking of the Telegram messenger is connected with this: the Kremlin is afraid of a social explosion and riots.
"Now there are rumors that people's deposits in banks will be turned into bonds. This is very dangerous! Politically dangerous, socially dangerous. And now, I see that rumors have started to circulate that state employees and law enforcement officers may be obliged to receive 10-15% of their salaries in the form of government bonds. This is also an extremely dangerous step. An excess may occur. Turn off Telegram or not - it will not save you from these excesses," the Z-patriot stated.
