50 Israeli fighter jets, guided by intelligence, struck an underground bunker in Tehran, the IDF reported.

The bunker was located on the grounds of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's residence in the center of the capital. According to the Israeli military, the bunker was used by senior Iranian officials after Khamenei's death on Saturday.

The bunker was one of the most important military command centers of the Iranian leadership. The strike on the bunker further weakens the regime's ability to govern and control it, the IDF said.
