Israel Says It Has Launched Large-scale Strikes On Tehran

The IDF is moving into a new phase of the operation against the Iranian regime.

The Israel Defense Forces said it has launched large-scale strikes against "Iranian regime infrastructure" in the capital Tehran.

"Initial report - the IDF has launched a large-scale wave of strikes against Iranian terrorist regime infrastructure in Tehran," the Israel Defense Forces said in a report. It did not give other details.

At the same time, Iran's state television reported explosions in the capital.

Earlier, Israel Defense Forces Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir said Israel was moving to the next phase of the operation against Iran.
