Indian Su-30 Fighter Jet Crashed

The crash occurred near the state of Arunchal Pradesh, over which India's control is disputed by China.

Indian Su-30 MKI fighter jet crashed in the Karbi-Anglong district of Assam state, about 60 km from the town of Jorhat. This was disclosed in the press service of the Indian Air Force. The condition of the pilot is not reported.

The fighter jet stopped communicating after 19:42 local time. It had reportedly taken off from Jorhat to perform a training flight. Search operations are continuing, the news service said. The crash occurred near the state of Arunchal Pradesh, over which India's control is disputed by China.
