Iran Authorizes Five Countries To Pass Through The Strait Of Hormuz

Russia is among them.

Tehran has allowed ships from Russia and other "friendly" countries to pass through the blockaded Strait of Hormuz, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, Tasnim reports.

"We have allowed passage through the Strait of Hormuz to several countries we consider friendly: for example, Russia, India, Iraq, China and Pakistan. We see no point in allowing our adversaries to use the strait," he said.
