MEP urged Belarusians to continue fighting for a democratic Belarus.
At the meeting of the European Parliament on March 25, the Belarusian Voli Day was recalled. It was initiated by the head of the European Parliament delegation for relations with Belarus Malgorzata Gosiewska. Also in the building of the European Parliament on the initiative of the delegation on Belarus (Michal Kobosko and Malgorzata Gosiewska) in honor of the Day of Will was posted a large white-red-white flag, reports Radye Ratsyia.
- Voli Day is an extremely important day for all Belarusians. I myself have repeatedly participated in this illegal event in Minsk. I hope that the time will come and I will be able to participate in the official celebrations on this occasion. First of all, I would like to wish all free Belarusians: don't stop fighting, believe that it will bring victory! The time will come, and your sacrifice and our solidarity will lead to victory. And I wish victory to all free Belarusians!
- On your initiative, today in the European Parliament we remembered the Day of Will. First, at the beginning of the plenary session, the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola emphasized in her message that today is the Day of Will - a very important day for Belarusians. Secondly, it is the hanging of the white-red-white flag in the building of the European Parliament. Last year we also managed to do it. Formally, the European Parliament is not allowed to use Belarusian flags at various celebrations, as it is the unofficial flag of Belarus. But for us it is official and the only one. And today we hung up the flags and symbolically demonstrated what Belarus is in our hearts - it is democratic Belarus.
