Hegseth Said The Pentagon Is Negotiating With Iran With Bombshells

The U.S. Secretary of War has said that Iran will not have nuclear weapons.

The head of the US Department of War Pete Hegseth said that the Pentagon sees itself as a participant in the negotiations. The minister said this during a joint press conference with US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

"We also see ourselves as part of the negotiations. We are negotiating with bombshells," Mr. Hegseth reportedly said. He said the US president had "made it clear" that Iran would not have nuclear weapons. "Our job is to ensure that," the Pentagon chief emphasized.

At the same press conference, Donald Trump said that Iranian authorities had agreed not to seek nuclear weapons.
